Just another day of working at the office space, you’re eager to catch a quick bite somewhere and wind down for your afternoon meal. Austin’s food scene is the best, and there’s always a new place to try and dine in with your friends and co-workers. Here’s a compiled list of places just around the corner and not too far from Vessel Coworking that you may want to take a peek at.

Easy Tiger
There’s no better place to enjoy happy hour than the new Easy Tiger location that’s a hop, skip, and jump away from Vessel Coworking in the Linc shopping center. The patio goes on and on and includes ping-pong and Jenga towers. Take your time with your cocktail or beer and a pretzel or grab some bread to go. We think Easy Tiger is best enjoyed with friends, so plan to meet up after work or on the weekends.

Stiles Switch
Get true Texas BBQ without the drive. Stiles Switch is located on North Lamar in the neighboring Brentwood neighborhood. Their BBQ is cooked slowing but served up fast and delicious. The sides are perfectly complimentary to their traditional BBQ. Enjoy seating inside or out under the covered patio. The Stiles Switch venue and BBQ give you all the nostalgia. You’ll enjoy every minute.

Chosen Galbi
Being a restaurant centered around Korean BBQ, you’ll will be able to enjoy the sweet and savory tastes of beef on a tabletop grill. They also have vegetarian meals, noodles, and stews if you’re not all about the meat hype they serve here. If you’re all about having your food cooked before your very eyes, Chosen Galbi is right around the corner from Vessel. The best part? Check out they’re lunch specials from 11 am to 2:30 pm.

We hope these places get you out of your comfort zone, or in this case, your work zone to wind down and take some time to satisfy your hunger. Everybody deserves a break throughout the day, and what better way to spend your break than going to go grab some good grub? After all, this is a ‘foodie’ city.
